We've lived here for 3.5 years now and have never gone to Lake Ontario! Since Jason is off on Thursdays, we decided to take a day trip to Fair Haven State Park and we had a blast! Jack was fearless when it came to the water, running right into it, falling, getting back up, trying to drink it, laughing, smiling, doing it all over again. Christian however was scared at first, would only go in if we were holding him, but finally he warmed up to the idea and enjoyed swimming with Daddy and playing with Jack on the shore. The played in the sand with their sand toys and then we went to the beautiful playground that overlooked the lake.
One of the things we really love about NY is the amazing state parks. We have yet to really be disappointed.
