Jack is doing great! He doesn't even resemble a baby any longer. It's so sad! He is so strong- at the park he throws a fit when he sees monkey bars and doesn't stop until you let him hang on them. He can last a minute hanging without any support and he loves to do pull ups with our help. He is a major climber, maybe more so than Christian was at this age if you can believe that! He climbed onto the kitchen table the other day when I had my back turned. He climbs onto Christian's tricycle and stands on the seat, he climbs onto the couch and everything else he possibly can all the time! This boy loves to climb, but I am not surprised!
He eats really well thankfully. He loves whole apples, corn on the cob, pasta, burgers, steaks, veggies and fruits, pretty much anything!
He LOVES music, loves to dance. He is so cute.... he spins around, bops up and down and shakes his arms. I love it! He LOVES Laurie Berkner. He will stop anything he is doing just to dance to his Laurie Berkner DVD.
Talking: He doesn't really have too many words aside from Mama, dada, oooooh, ahh and his newest word: ball (he'll say all of those when you prompt him to) and the funniest is that he actually says "get down"... apparently he's heard me say that a few times!
Jack and Christian are so cute together too. They usually play really well together- they're like best buddies... which I think is just amazing!! Jack loves Christian and Christian loves him too. Everything that Christian does, Jack wants to do too.
For Jacks birthday, we celebrated at home where Jack had his presents and cake
(an organic homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting). Jack loved the
happy birthday song, we had to sing it 2 times! For his birthday weekend, we had to go to New Jersey for a chiropractic seminar again and we stayed at my cousins house. We celebrated there as well. I can't believe that Jack is 1!
